Things to bring with you

Appropriate footwear

Flat shoes suitable for riding a bike.  Trainers, walking shoes, sturdy outdoor shoes are all ok.  Be prepared to get some mud / dirt on your shoes.

Warm clothing

It is always best to bring a few thin layers of clothing rather than one bulky item. This way. you can remove a layer when you start to warm up.  Remember to check the weather forecast for the Guildford area before you set off.

A light jacket for the outdoors offering some windproof protection will be helpful if you have one, as will a cycling jacket.  Better to bring one in the colder months.  When it is warmer weather you can always leave it in the van or put it in your knapsack.

There will be plenty of opportunities for photos or maybe you wish to update social media or need to keep in touch.  So please remember to charge your mobile.

If you are taking medication or use an inhaler or have an epipen please double check you have all the necessary items before you leave home or the hotel.

Other items

Sounds crazy but you may need some sun cream in the summer.  Also, if warm enough you may find cycling easier in shorts. Lastly, please bring some spare cash or a card in case you decide to take up the option to visit the Pub or Tea Room for some lunch or refreshments. If you are not sure about what to bring please just email or call in advance.
